Hot Stamping
What’s Hot Stamping ?
Hot stamping is a decorative process that transfers metal foil (such as gold foil, silver foil, laser foil) or colored foil to the surface of the material through heat and pressure. It is also called foil stamping, hot silvering, and hot printing.
- Hot Stamping Die: A metal plate (such as a copper or zinc plate) is engraved with a design, which is then heated and transferred to the foil.
- Foil Stamping: This consists of multiple layers of material (color, metal, and adhesive) that are applied to the surface after heating.
- Pressure & Temperature: A foil stamping machine applies high temperature (approximately 100–300°C) and pressure to transfer the design to the foil.
